My name is Tess Gardephe. I am a sophomore at New York University studying Public Health and Psychology. I am from New York and am the oldest of four. I find that staying healthy, both mentally and physically, is absolutely crucial in life. Therefore, I think it is wonderful when organizations attempt to raise public awareness regarding health issues. Simply putting the information out there is the best way to take action. I am ready and excited to help Ghanaians better understand what can be done to raise their life expectancy.
Living a healthy life is important not just for individuals but for those they care about, because they are impacted too.
