To mark the milestone of her 50th birthday, the CEO of The Longevity Project is attempting to raise ¢100,000,000 (~$11,000) to launch a health & fitness news magazine by running in the Milo Marathon to be held in Accra on 28 October 2006.
The plan is ultimately to distribute 10,000 to 50,000 copies of the magazine free of charge to all public secondary schools in the country. All paid pledges will be acknowledged with thanks and a receipt; contributions of ¢350,000 (or $50 USD) or more will be recognized in the inaugural issue of the magazine and will entitle the donor to a complimentary copy of the magazine.
